Well it’s Sunday, and that means we have once again been out to help our brothers and sisters in need, living in the streets of Vallejo. Without fail, the anticipation was great, because the end of the month is here, and that means little to no funds left for anyone we serve. With that thought in mind, we made sure to have extra sandwiches available for those who requested a little bit more. It turned out to be a wise move. Thankfully we were able to give without any worries of having enough to accommodate the needs of our recipients. We will continuously rework the way we operate, as the needs we encounter change. All in all, yesterday was quiet, yet active. Most people we saw, were a bit more tucked into the shadows and away from the drama that they usually encounter on a regular basis. The knowledge that we are coming out at the same time, on the same day, has made it possible to effectively coordinate and distribute our goods and services in a expeditious manner! Again, we will adapt to our situation, just as we encourage our friends to do. Adapt, learn, and grow! That’s the name of the game. Change from within, ultimately causes change abroad!! Just saying! Anyway, with that said, have a wonderful day, Peace, and May God continue to Bless Us All!! ✌🏾🙏🏾 #ONELOVE❤️✊🏾🖤✊🏼💚✊🏻💛 Please follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram! 424EVR

It’s Sunday morning, and it’s been quite the whirlwind weekend for the project. We started off the weekend as the beneficiaries of the proceeds to be collected from the Vallejo Pride Masquerade Ball. Proceeds we will receive next week, and that will have an immediate impact in the lives of the people we serve. With that positive energy, we turned right around and hit the streets of Vallejo with 100 sack lunches, toiletries, and much more. We also continued to sign up people interested in joining to our MLK FAMILY & FRIENDS PROGRAM!! To say the least, we are excited to get the program, with all of its advantages and incentives, going at full capacity. From here on out, we will have open enrollment once a month, on every third Saturday. With that being said, we signed up 10 more people, one family, and distributed cards to those who have already signed up.
The he most important thing is that we are able to consistently maintain our level of service and the standards we have imposed on ourselves. Dignity is the name of this game, and we want to reassure our friends that it’s theirs to demand, and even more so, theirs to maintain! This program will help us to establish more personal and trusting bonds with those we serve, and that is how our words of hope and our actions will resonate better, because they will be better received. It will be a constant work in progress, because better can always be improved upon. Last but certainly not least, we are trying to help our friends take care of their furry friends, really more like furry family members, by providing pet products, including food, water, meds, and accessories like collars, leashes, etc... We are very in touch with our love for animals here at the project, and short of being vegans, though some of the team are, we definitely believe in responsible and loving pet care. These pets provide companionship, loyalty, and mostly love. They give it, and they encourage our friends to provide it. Empowering the empathy they have within themselves for life, both man and animal. All in all, yesterday was like every other day of service, it was a gift and a blessing, for our friends and ourselves. We look forward to getting out next weekend and getting this program moving. So we will see you in the streets of Vallejo next Saturday morning!!! ✌🏾🙏🏾 P.S. Please like and or follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!! #ONELOVE❤️✊🏾🖤✊🏼💚✊🏻💛 424EVR For starters, it was finally a cool day in the Bay, for the second day in a row! However, we still had work to do. With the childhood memory of my father giving a man, a stranger, the jacket off of his back, I was extra inspired to do what my father taught me many years ago! Simply stated, he taught me to be kind, compassionate, and most of all giving to those in need, if and when I could. As a small team, we went out into the the streets of Vallejo, CA to try and make a similar impact on people, both young and old. We found many people in need, yet very grateful for the thought of being thought about. We were able to provide everyone already involved with the program and those wishing to join the FAMILY & FRIENDS PROGRAM, with a lunch, a pair of BOMBAS SOCKS, toiletry bags from Project Blessing Bags, extra snacks, and most importantly, LOVE! We met a new little buddy, and we are ready to be there to help him and his young parents. Along with our friends, we also were able to help out our furry friends with dog food, water, and accessories! All in all it was a great day to be of service, as it is everyday! We will see y’all next week, so until then, Peace and God Bless!! Well it’s Sunday, so that means Saturday has once again come and gone, and what a day it turned out to be. It was the beginning of what promises to be a hot summer season in Vallejo. We had to go to a secondary plan in addition to our root. We located our friends trying to escape the heat in places not typical to our route. However, it was well worth it. We gave everyone an extra water, in most cases, and in some cases an extra lunch. The gratitude was met with words of love and empowerment. After we completed what was a successful lunch run, we immediately turned our focus to our town meeting to address grave and serious concerns about the Vallejo Police Department and their practices. It turned out to be an extremely educational experience. We look forward to finding solutions to our policing situations in conjunction with those who truly care to seek solutions! Til then, we will continue our mission to help those who want to help themselves, and those who unfortunately no longer can!!! #ONELOVE❤️✊🏾🖤✊🏼💚✊🏻💛 424EVR It’s Sunday morning, and a new day is once again upon us. Yesterday we officially started the full implementation of our new FAMILY & FRIENDS PROGRAM, and it was a success by all accounts. It was a very smooth process, with a few minor bumps, but smooth nonetheless. It’s safe to say that it was a much quieter day than normal, due to the fact that there weren’t concentrated groups of individuals, just many smaller groups of 2-3 and lots of individuals who were simply by themselves. This is all largely attributed to the fact that it’s the beginning of the month and funds are readily available. It’s this time when people are able to get a room for a few days, and find some semblance of normalcy. It’s when people are able to shower, and that’s paramount with regards to self esteem. Anyway, for those we did see, we were able to pass out Bombas Socks, toiletry bags, pet food and products, books, and much more. As usual, in the end it was another beautiful day of service. With so much happening behind the scenes, we are trying our best to help not only our friends, but our city as well. We will certainly keep y’all posted on the progress of project programs and programs still in the conceptual stages. Til that time comes, remember to be thankful for what you have, not resentful for what you don’t. So as always Peace, and May God continue to Bless Us All!! ✌🏾🙏🏾 Please follow us on Facebook🤞🏾 “SOMETIMES GOD BLESSES OTHERS THROUGH US!!”🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 #ONELOVE❤️✊🏾🖤✊🏼💚✊🏻💛 424EVR |
