It’s been an incredibly challenging time for us all, but yesterday reminded us here at MLKHP just how much we appreciate what we have. So many are going without and learning how to make it with less. It’s our intention to help others as much as we can to get through these times, especially for but not limited to the unhoused. We have seen a steady increase in new faces, and that’s a concern. With the availability of employment and resources becoming scarce, there are certain demographics who will be left to fend for themselves. We are fast at work developing a program especially for this particular group, that we suspect will be comprised largely of single men with criminal records. However, we know that everyone with a criminal record isn’t a criminal. We will be rolling out our new program in the next 2-3 weeks depending on the anticipated arrival of necessary goods and items. Til then we will continue to go our best to bring out the best in others. See you next week in the streets of Vallejo!

Well it’s another tough time in our country, and that only means tougher times for our friends. With recent grant funding helping us through this tough time, we are blessed to be able to serve. It’s been a very trying time, but we’re heading in the right direction. Staying the course has proven it worth. With 80 lunches, am we went out to help the less fortunate, and the love was reciprocal all the way around. We will be out next week with even more things to help our friend find some stability and peace of mind! So see y’all next streets of Vallejo, CA!!
