It’s been another successful weekend of service. This was our first week of service without being partnered with Outpaw Outreach. Due to scheduling issues, we felt it best to operate independently, but with a referral based relationship. Our friends have been reassured that we will continue our MLKHP Pet Program, and it will at the very least be business as usual, and there will only be room for improvement and growth. We will continue to work with our other partners, listed in our Sponsorships & Partnerships section of this website. We are excited about potential projects for holiday service, and will be updating you on that, as soon as possible. Other than that, we were surprised at the volume of people we served, considering it was the 2nd of the month, and for many of our friends, some financial resources are available. Anyway, we took note of the unusually high number, and will be better prepared to serve in the weeks to come. So on a final note, we are committing to giving everyone, who receives a lunch, a pair of socks twice each month, from November through January. Much thanks to our partnership with BOMBAS SOCKS, because it will allow us to provide the socks during these cold months!! So with that, we will see y’all next week in the streets of Vallejo!!
